I am passionate about gender equality issues and addressing the historical and structural inequalities facing men and women in society. In addition to this I am interested in women empowerment, Gender policy Development and Elimination of gender based violence and sexual and reproductive health rights.
I am a creative individual who is always looking for ways to improve programs or services and think outside the box. Furthermore my communication skills , ability to work collaboratively, , technological awareness, commitment to continuous learning, leadership skills, and experience in empowering others and managing performance.I find energy and inspiration in combining my passion in community work to address current global issues.
In my previous roles, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to communicate effectively and listen to others, tailoring my language, tone, style, and format to match the audience. I have also shown a commitment to teamwork, placing the team agenda before my personal agenda and supporting and acting in accordance with final group decisions.
My most recent role was at the National Gender and Equality Commission, a government institution that promotes gender equality and freedom from all forms of discrimination in Kenya, especially for special interests groups.
