Am a competent driver well skilled in defensive driving,got more than 17 years experience.
I hereby write to express my interest in applying for the position of a driver which will take advantage of my ability to learn quickly and complete assignments independently or as part of a team with a high level of performance. I am certain that my skills in international and local hospitality academic qualification will match with the position.
My work experience will reveal that I have over 10 years’ experience in hospitality management and customer relations, in how management (Hilton 5start, Meridian
Court 3star, Marble Arch 3star) 2004 – 2005, as a barista in Starbucks Coffees
International 2006 – 2009.
Recently, Ontime cabs 2010-2011 Lead driver, Sema Africa 2011 and currently
Sportpesa Limited as an executive driver in Nairobi and its environs among others.
These experiences have natured me understand how my planning, customer care services public relations care, adhere to universal relations and road measures control protocols, coordinating with other departments namely logistics, security and emergency response, finance, human resources and supplies. Additionally, I am in auto mechanics, first aid management and international experience in multicultural which have horned my skills of how to handle diverse communities.
As an executive driver, I have learned on Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and discreteness in discussions and travels and a great responsibility in ensuring safety and security of my passenger, vehicle and also being courteous to other drivers and road users.
I am competent in handling automatic and manual transmission vehicles,
computerized data entries, report writing, problem solving skills, logistics management and budgeting and costing, vehicle VHF radio operation among other key management issues.
My interest in this position, mainly comes from the fact that I am passionate about customer relations management with emphasize on solution-oriented objective which supports hospitality diversity.
I am ready for new challenges and ways to improve myself, am able to not only work independently and as a team, which is significant for this position. I am good at team work able to consider and analyze different opinions and take the lead when necessary, good at persuading other by creating relationships based on mutual trust and understanding.
