Contract with AFIDEP enabled me to perform the following roles:
- Compiled the proposal of HIGH-Res project, involved in data collection & cleaning then data analysis process.
- Final report compilation of HIGH-Res project.
- Actively involved in a rapid systematic review study-Community intervention in Low And Middle-Income Countries to inform COVID-19 control implementation decisions in Kenya.
- Data collection for the KAPP study -Knowledge, Attitudes, Perceptions and Practices (KAPP) about the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Ministry of Health, Afya House.( 2019-2020)
Volunteer in the Directorate of Health Policy, Research, Monitoring & Evaluation Which I perform the following roles:
- Contributed to the development of the Data Analytics Framework for the health sector.
- Actively participated in the development of the web portal KHRO, a research observatory.
- Reviewing of protocols and study proposals for threshold test.
- Extracting datasets from DHIS2 for analysis and preparation of Annual Progress Report for the MOH.
- Interacted with Tableau to generate reports for evidence based decision making.
- Actively involved in the Health Summit 2019.
- Prepared the export/import permits for shipment of biological samples.
- Extracted data from KHRO and used Power BI to analyze and generate graphical trends for division head presentations
- Organized and executed the first Health, Environment and Climate Change Conference in partnership with KEMRI
- Currently involved in the HIGH-Res project in partnership with KEMRI.
- Trained the Kisumu CHVs and CHEWs on household air pollution in 4 days workshop.
- Involved in developing Monitoring & Evaluation plan and reports for the Division’s projects.
- Attended documents management and handling training at KSG.
- Attended routine meetings on behalf of the Division of Research.
