I have had the pleasure of working on both government and donor-funded projects for the last four years. Most importantly I supervised 200+ research projects valued at over 1 billion KSH and participated in funds lobbying, the creation of competitive funding opportunity announcements, and the subsequent review and evaluation of the proposals. I also conducted the routine Monitoring and Evaluation of the projects.

During my time we successfully developed the first Grants Policy. Subsequently, we conducted the first Impact assessment of the project where I had to guide the team in performing an activity never executed before. The impact assessment of the research projects gave meaningful insight into how to reallocate resources best and optimize impact. Also, project leads were well-informed on areas of impact that they had neglected.

With my scientific research background and hands-on training as a partnership, program and grants manager, I would be a perfect fit.
