As a Refrigeration and air Conditioning Technician i am a skilled tradesperson who specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cooling and heating systems. I work with a range of equipment, including refrigerators, air conditioners, HVAC systems, and other cooling appliances.
Responsibilities of a refrigeration and air conditioning technician may include:
Installing and maintaining cooling and heating systems, including ducts, pipes, and electrical wiring
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment, including identifying and fixing leaks, adjusting thermostats, and replacing broken parts
Performing regular maintenance, such as cleaning coils and filters, checking refrigerant levels, and testing system performance
Ensuring that equipment meets safety and environmental standards, such as testing for leaks and proper disposal of refrigerants
Advising customers on energy efficiency and recommending upgrades or replacements when necessary.
