I have worked in customer service and public relations for close to half a decade now. I am passionate about fostering positive and meaningful connections between organizations and their customers. Strategic Planning and Campaign Development
As an accomplished Public Relations Officer with approximately 5 years of experience, I have honed my skills in fostering meaningful connections between organizations and the public. My career began with a marketing internship at Kenya Power & Lighting Company, where I developed foundational skills in customer service and marketing. I then served as a Public Communication Officer for the County Government of Laikipia from November 2020 to November 2023. In this role, I excelled in planning and executing public participation and civic education meetings, mobilizing the public, and addressing grievances. Currently, I am a Customer Service Officer at Intercity Secure Homes Ltd, where I maintain strong client relationships, monitor site visits, and ensure effective sales team coordination. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning and relationship building.
I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Governance from Mt Kenya University, completed in May 2025. Additionally, I earned a Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Nairobi, which I completed in December 2017. These academic credentials have equipped me with a strong foundation in public administration, governance, and public relations, enhancing my ability to effectively manage communications and foster relationships within various organizational contexts.
