RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involved in greening project for landscape restoration of Athi River watershed in Makueni County.
• Conducted environmental inspection and audits for projects developments within the county.
• Conducted farmer sensitization programs on agro forestry and fruits trees farming.
• Developing training packages climate change Participatory Vulnerability and Capacity Assessments (PVCA)
• Coordination of Climate change youth volunteers and activities within Makueni County.
• Planning and participating extension activities, field days, exhibitions and shows, implementing youth and managing community based projects.
• Capacity building and backstopping on Climate change programmes in county through participation in monitoring and evaluation of climate change community based projects and partners.
• Collecting, collating, analyzing, reporting, storing, and disseminating climate change information data ecosystem.
• Promotion of climate action compliance standards in stewardship of community adaptation to impacts of climate change.
• Disseminating environmental technologies and innovation to learning institutions in a multi-sectoral collaboration with Red-Cross Kenya Makueni chapter.
• Taking part in stakeholder consultative forums ADSE, ICPAC, World Vision, TARDA, Ministry of Health Makueni, Red Cross, UKPACT, ADA Consortium, and KFS among other partners, which equipped me with resource mobilization skills, Team management and stakeholder engagement. .
• Training Community vulnerable to climate change impacts on proposal writing, developing viable business plans for donor grants.
