Hello, my name is Cpa Kelvin Mwangi Waithaka, a professional accountant based in Kenya.
My qualifications include a certificate in Accounting Technical Certificate 2, and Certified Public Accountant section 6 to attain CPA K. Apart from the educational qualifications I have great computer skills, and strong communication skills both in English and Kiswahili.
In the course of my education, I was able to acquire skills in preparing accurate financial records, Strategy creation, and efficiently maintaining daily books of account. I also learned the different risks facing an organization as well as types and forms of fraud which mostly include financial statement fraud asset misappropriation bribery corruption among others.
I have 5 plus years working on different freelance accounting projects and also 2 years experience working under an auditor as an audits clerk and now an auditor after successfully completing my CPA.
Over the years of my experience working in different sectors, I have gained potent skills in the field of accounting, including; conducting both internal and external audits, conducting risk assessments, testing and making changes to internal control systems, reconciliations, debtors and creditors tests to ascertain the true value among many more tasks.

For the last 2 years, I have been working at Kibois&Kosgey Associates. In this position, I have worked as an Audit Clerk/Accountant in the office and on-site. My main duties include carrying out audits on our client's companies which involves planning, an inspection of the financial statements, carrying out tests and sampling different sectors, and finally writing a report.
I also prepare financial statements or create or recreate the entire framework in accordance with IFRS and IAS.
