I am dedicated and results driven Community Development graduate, passionate about grassroots women, youth, children and local community empowerment and social impact. I am skilled in community mobilization, organization, and participatory development approaches that strengthen and unlock development potentials in social, economic and environmental spheres for women, youth and children, Indigenous People, local communities, and the planet. As a change agent, I am motivated to contribute to the mission of development organizations and institutions as part of a strategic team that delivers sustainable and systemic impact.

Assistant Consultant – Research, Data and Information Gathering at Community Land Summit 2025 (2025-11 – 2026-01)

Carried out research on Indigenous land rights, pastoralism, climate justice, and community-led land and natural resource governance. Information and data gathered was used by the Lead Summit Facilitator to inform discussions and recommendations by the Summit participants. The 5th Community Land Summit was held in Nairobi from 24–27 November 2025 under the theme "Enhance mobile Indigenous Peoples' livelihoods through secure tenure rights and an effective pastoral policy environment for posterity." The forum brought together Indigenous leaders, pastoralist communities, government officials, civil society groups, and delegates from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and South Sudan.

Research Assistant – Support for the Development of Strategic Plan at Soipan Tuya Foundation (2025-05 – 2025-10)

Carried out research on social, economic and environmental issues affecting marginalized women, children, youth and local communities in Kenya through search engines, literature review and data analysis. Information and data collected was used by the lead consultant to inform stakeholders consultation and the development of the Strategic Plan.

Intern - Community Development and Public Health at Kesses Sub-County Hospital (2025-02 – 2025-05)

• Supported the implementation of community health programs focused on community health, education, and social welfare for women, youth and children in areas such as maternal and child health including child immunization drive, sexual and reproductive health including use of contraceptives, drugs and substance abuse, hygiene and sanitation.
• Carried out field data collection, processing, and analysis to inform developing project monitoring and evaluation reports.
• Supported community mobilization including women and youth organizing to participate in targeted health initiatives and awareness campaigns at sub-county and local levels.
• Supported the identification and data collection that profile vulnerable groups including women, older persons and the youth for economic empowerment programs such as Income Generating Activities, business development skills and training, table banking for saving and loaning to improve their livelihoods, income, and access to decent jobs.
• Worked closely with health officers, community health volunteers and collaborated with local leaders, community members, and stakeholders to ensure project success and sustainability.
• Carried out other assignments as assigned by my supervisor.

Assistant Consultant – Research, Data and Information Gathering at Community Land Summit 2024 (2024-11 – 2025-01)

Carried out extensive research on Indigenous People and Carbon Markets, Conservation and related thematic areas. Information and data collected was used to inform Summit discourse, declaration, and reporting by the Lead Rapporteur. The 4th Edition of the Community Land Summit (CLS) 2024, co-convened by IMPACT Kenya, and PARAN Alliance in collaboration with other partners, was held under the theme "Enhancing Indigenous peoples' collective bargaining power towards carbon markets" with a focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 13 on Climate Action, and 10 towards Reduced Inequalities, emphasizing on indigenous peoples' collective bargaining power towards carbon markets.

Research Assistant at Pastoralist Women Council, Kenya (2024-04 – 2024-08)

Supported data collection, processing and analysis in undertaking Comprehensive Participatory Baseline on the Challenges Facing Maasai Women and Girls, and Potential Solutions in Kajiado and Narok Counties in Kenya commissioned by Pastoral Women Council in Kenya.

Community Development and Public Health Support Trainee (Attachment) at Kesses Sub-County Hospital (2023-01 – 2023-04)

• Assisted in facilitating community sensitization forums on public health, maternal and child health targeting women and members of the general public.
• Participated in public health education campaigns focused on sexual and reproductive health and rights, hygiene and sanitation, drug and substance assistance, and communicable diseases.
• Supported administrative and field activities logistics such as distribution of awareness materials, camp set up, participants registration and records management among others.
