Assistant Consultant – Research, Data and Information Gathering at Community Land Summit 2025 (2025-11 – 2026-01)
Carried out research on Indigenous land rights, pastoralism, climate justice, and community-led land and natural resource governance. Information and data gathered was used by the Lead Summit Facilitator to inform discussions and recommendations by the Summit participants. The 5th Community Land Summit was held in Nairobi from 24–27 November 2025 under the theme "Enhance mobile Indigenous Peoples' livelihoods through secure tenure rights and an effective pastoral policy environment for posterity." The forum brought together Indigenous leaders, pastoralist communities, government officials, civil society groups, and delegates from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and South Sudan.
Research Assistant – Support for the Development of Strategic Plan at Soipan Tuya Foundation (2025-05 – 2025-10)
Carried out research on social, economic and environmental issues affecting marginalized women, children, youth and local communities in Kenya through search engines, literature review and data analysis. Information and data collected was used by the lead consultant to inform stakeholders consultation and the development of the Strategic Plan.

Carried out extensive research on Indigenous People and Carbon Markets, Conservation and related thematic areas. Information and data collected was used to inform Summit discourse, declaration, and reporting by the Lead Rapporteur. The 4th Edition of the Community Land Summit (CLS) 2024, co-convened by IMPACT Kenya, and PARAN Alliance in collaboration with other partners, was held under the theme "Enhancing Indigenous peoples' collective bargaining power towards carbon markets" with a focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 13 on Climate Action, and 10 towards Reduced Inequalities, emphasizing on indigenous peoples' collective bargaining power towards carbon markets.
