March 2023- to date.

As a tutor/trainer in the TVET institution, I guided and mentored trainees in the Applied Science - Environmental Science section. Below are the duties, responsibilities and the achievements made within the performance of this role;

• I was able to successfully offer tutelage in various subjects, specifically Environmental technology, Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental/Geographical Information Systems EIS/GIS, Environmental Pollution and Control, Environmental Resources Planning and Management, Environmental Economics and Research Methods.
• I was able to conduct students assessment specifically in coordinating, supervising, setting and evaluating internal departmental examinations.
• I successfully transitioned 90% of my assigned classes to a more blended form of learning using online resources and platforms.
• I was able to conduct various subject workshop practicals using the school's facilities essential for assessment by the Kenya Examinations Council.
• I also supervised projects of students doing various courses in the department and was responsible for guidance and assessment of practicals.
• I was able to interact with my counterparts in the partner department, section and the enterprises in order to ensure optimal coordination between the off-the-job and on-the-job elements of the training programme.
• I was able to update the knowledge, skills and competence in my own professional field and adapt to the training methods on a regular basis.
• I was able to take on work experience in partner enterprises in order to update my own understanding of the skills requirements of the different occupations and to experience personally the learning environment of apprentices in enterprises.
• I was able to provide special care for students with learning difficulties, disabilities and other limitations.

• Undertook environmental impact assessment and initial environmental auditing and reporting.

Duties

• Received, recorded and assisted to review Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Audit reports according to Environmental Management and Coordination Act which were issuance of license to clients. 
• Received, recorded and attended to environmentally related public complaints and incidents reported to the office assess the nature and extent of the damage and delivered possible remedial solutions. 
• Participated in some regular inspections on various facilities, development zones and other areas of construction to ensure compliance to various environmental regulations under EMCA.
• Kept and updated certain office databases and general day to day activities in the office to ensure they were on standby mode for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Learned regulations related to the environment compliance and enforcement on various environmental laws, policies and conventions that needs to be adhered to strictly.
