I am KIPLANGTA TONUI ,experienced in the construction industry. I have had a chance to work with County Government of Bomet Department of Roads , Transport and Public works as assistant structural Engineer, and was seconded to Bomet Municipality as Civil and Structural Engineer, China Communication Construction Company LAPSSET project as Quality controller, China Roads and Bridge Corporation as site engineer
National Construction Authority (NCA) coastal region as data entry officer, at Warren enterprises limited and Britech Consulting Engineers as an intern in building and construction.
I had the opportunity to learn, implement and better my skills in areas of; design works using Prota structure software and detailing using AutoCAD site supervision Preparation of bills of quantities, office works (Microsoft Excel), Site inspection, Site meeting, design works and AutoCAD detailing, material testing, report writing and civil works and follow up on aConstruction project.
My experience as detailed above has enabled me gain a detailed knowledge in the construction industry, good communication and report writing skills.
I graduated with second class honours (lower division) in Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering from Technical University of Mombasa.
I am flexible in all aspects of work and always willing to try new methods and approaches to aid in solving problems either of technical or people nature. I enjoy learning at all levels, be it of value to my profession or personal development.
