Lavender Atieno

I am a passionate and a hardworking teacher who sees that the delegated duties are run effectively and at the right time. I also perform the role of a stream Head in grade 7 and at the same time a class teacher. I have always been a primary class teacher until recently due to my constant performance and devotion towards my work I was promoted as the Deputy principal in the junior secondary section, since i am also a holder of bachelor's degree in Education.My aim is to see learners get inspired to learn and explore more in academics and extra curricular activities.

As much as I am a graduate with bachelor's degree my passion has always been in the primary section though I have also been a high school teacher who has taught up to a candidate class. I have been teaching for the past seven years.This makes me a fully experienced teacher. I have also attended several trainings on CBC Curriculum, being a leader I have also attended several meetings of KPSA which have added up my leadership skills and abilities.

I am a class teacher currently in grade seven that is in junior secondary, I am also the stream Head I also head the guidance and counseling department, I write reports weekly on the school affairs and it's running, I prepare the school time table, aside from that I also give daily classroom reports and learner's attendance as a class teacher. I perform all these duties without feeling any pressure. One thing I love about my work is the classroom engagement especially with my learners, learning time is usually fun time.

I have also held several interviews and attended board meetings too. I believe that with what am able to offer it will be my pleasure to join your fraternity.

I am a graduate with bachelor's degree in Education, English and Literature where I attain second class lower division. I also have a Primary teacher certificate where I attained credit.
