As Managing Director for KONE East Africa, I lead a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering the best solutions in the industry. With a blend of Engineering, Marketing and Management, I have worked for many years in the Infrastructure, Machinery, Energy, Manufacturing, Water, Extractives and Related Sectors, in Africa, and also in Europe. I have taken Local, Regional and Global Roles along my career path.
My exposure to different regions in the world, working in new product development, business development and also in environments where innovation and sustainability were key parts of the job have equipped me well to undertake any future challenges. Additionally, having worked in political and economically challenging environments, developed and developing countries, has given me a good understanding of how different markets operate, enabling me to apply better practices from one market to another.
One of my key passions is Leadership which I believe is the key to success in any field. I have successfully led different teams along my career path, and I have been fortunate enough to coach and mentor to others. My desire to learn and grow with others led me to convene The Men’s Book Breakfast, a forum where leaders and emerging ones come to share experiences as they read together.
