• LAB WORK: Phlebotomy(venous, capillary, femoral, DBS), carry out tests including; Full hemogram, Hb estimation, Blood grouping, cross-match, Blood sugar, ESR, INR, Bs for malaria parasite, Peripheral Blood Count, CD4 count, viral load, Analysis of Stool, urine, pus, High vaginal swab, urethral swab, Sputum for TB, Semen, Gram staining, kidney profile, liver profile, lipid profile, hormonal profile, HBA1C, PSA, BETA HCG, thyroid function, uric acid, calcium, phosphorus levels, Rheumatoid factor, ASOT, VDRL, TPHA, C-reactive protein, S.Typhi, H.pylori, Brucella Ag tests, CRAG test, HIV, CORONA, HCG test, fecal occult blood.
• MAINTENANCE: Decontamination, CSSD practices, running quality and Standard controls, updating service & machine maintenance schedules, updating SOP, preparing requisitions, inventory, expiry tables, and tracking fridge temperature and prompt lab licensing. Maintain the hematology analyses, biochemistry analyzer, HB & glucometer, centrifuge, microscope, water bath, fridge, fluorescence microscope, counter, roller, lipid analyzer incubator, thermometers, bp machines, printers & computers in good working condition.
• DATA MANAGEMENT: Using different computer programs such as SANITAS, APHICONS, and AFYASOFT, to input, edit, forward, type, print, modify, and store for posterity. Using Word, Publisher, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and others to prepare documents and present them. Management of medical insurance claims including SMART, SLADE and HICS billing, filling forms, adding attachments, sending physical claims, and reconciliations.
• CUSTOMER CARE: Welcome, listen, input data, and acquire, attend and escalate to customer feedback by means such as questionnaires, discussions, and comments. Timely attendance to emails, messages, and phone calls on all online platforms ensuring utmost confidentiality. Advertise the institution in both physical through service and online. Made brochures, pamphlets, posters, letters, profiles , taking pics to be used in marketing. Take and record patient vitals such as pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation, and weight.
• MANAGEMENT: Interviewing, Training, and inducting new staff. Preparing Rota, budgets, presentations, CMEs, orders, requisitions, finance reports, tenders, minutes, meetings, and memorandum. Conflict resolution, resource allocation, attending to hospital visitors, and representing the facility in official forums. Follow-up hospital reimbursement by insurance and on boarding other insurances during marketing
