As a Web Development Officer , I am responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's website. I work closely with the web development team, content team, and other stakeholders to ensure the website is user-friendly, functional, and reflects the organization's brand.

My Key Responsibilities include

Develop and maintain the organization's website using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Ensure website functionality, usability, and performance are optimized to meet user needs.

Create and implement website designs, including graphics, images, and other multimedia elements.

Collaborate with the content team to ensure website content is up to date and accurate.

Ensure the website is accessible and adheres to web accessibility guidelines.

Monitor website analytics and track key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.

Troubleshoot website issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.

Keep up to date with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Participate in website testing and quality assurance activities.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Web Development Manager

I have 5 years professional experience as a Web developer . My experience runs from 2017 at Anchor group as intern, 2018 at Parapet limited as a Web development officer, 2021 at instaworkforce limited as web development officer and from 2022 at Verde Edge limited as a Web development officer. Currently a freelance web developer and looking to fill into a position.

I completed my first Diploma from the National Youth Service Ruaraka, on programming in year 2009.

Joined and graduated with Bsc. Computer Science from Kenyatta university in the year 2012
