I am passionate about tech and this has been my way of trying to solve problems for people. Especially matters access to information. This process has been promoted by my education in information science which is all about information: creation, storage, and dissemination and technology has enabled me be able to provide and ease the access to information.

I am adaptable and flexible as this is necessary for tech as the required knowledge keeps changing. Lastly, I am a team player and this has grown as I have been through various online programmes which have included pair programming with other students and in the process. I have been able to understand that people have different work styles and this promotes diversity in the team.

I have manifested this passion for tech by learning frontend web development and focused on react js library. I have been able to utilise this skills for various projects but most recent for my undergraduate ongoing project to develop a system to access traditional medicinal herbs for the Kikuyu community, Kiambu County, Kihara Ward. This project brought out my learning and adaptability skills as the process of development of the system involved learning some new concepts.

I am Bachelors degree student pursuing information science and I am awaiting graduation as I complete my attachment programme.

Additionally, I have gone through an ALX, Udacity partnership programming, Nanodegree programme for Full stack development which equipped my PostgreSQL skills.
