Mark Mutugi

First Class Film and Animation graduate and hands-on filmmaker with a production background spanning broadcast news, documentary, narrative film, live multi-camera production, photography and digital content. I am well suited where creative decisions happens from developing the shot, shaping the visual language, operating the camera and pushing a production from an idea to a finished piece. I have worked as a camera operator at ROYAL MEDIA SERVICES (Citizen TV) alongside professional journalists in demanding news environments, from protests and public events to official government pressers such as Council of Governors engagements, delivering clean, editorially usable coverage to professional media standards.

I also take on creative leadership roles across directing, cinematography, art direction and editing, being versatile in that I can step into a production, understand what the story needs, make the creative call and deliver.
