Professor Martins Agenuma Anetekhai is an Emeritus Professor of Fisheries and Aquaculture with over four decades of research, teaching, policy and consultancy leadership across Nigeria and Africa. He combines a Ph.D. in Fisheries with direct field experience assessing and advising aquaculture and fisheries programmes for donor-funded initiatives including DFID (now FCDO), FAO, the European Commission, and the African Union–InterAfrican Bureau for Animal Resources (AU-IBAR).
