A graduate civil engineer with three years of experience, a strong foundation in the principles and practices of civil engineering; including design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure such as buildings, roads, bridges, and water systems. A good understanding of various engineering software and tools, as well as industry standards and regulations having gained hands-on experience through internships and co-op positions.
Experience gained as a data assistant with a Water Sanitation and Hygiene company, collecting and analyzing data related to water and sanitation systems, and assisting with the design and implementation of projects. As an intern and thereafter an assistant engineer with a leading national highways authority I have assisted in the design, construction and maintenance of highways, culverts and other transportation and drainage infrastructure.
Overall, a graduate civil engineer with a sufficient understanding of the design and implementation of infrastructure projects, as well as knowledge of regulations and standards that pertain to the water and sanitation and highway industries, well versed in the use of engineering software and tools, as well as data analysis techniques. I am able to work well in a team and have good communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
