I am an experienced Certified Public Accountant of Kenya–CPA (K) holding a Master of Science degree in Finance (MSc) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Commerce–Second Class Honors, Upper division–in Finance. I also undertook a senior management course at Kenya School of Government. I am currently the Head of Finance at the Commission on RevenueAllocation, apposition I have held since December 2014.Previously, I served as an Accountant at Commission on Revenue Allocation and at Kenya Investment Authority
(2009–2012). I also held the position of Revenue Accountant at Reliance General Ltd (Nation Distributors).
My experience runs over the last 21 years, 14 being in the public sector and 7 in the private sector. I have been in seniormanagement for close to 9 years with vast training in Senior management, prudent financial management, leadership and good corporate governance. I have exceptional leadership skills, good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Further, I have mastered program planning, budget development, implementation, monitoringand reporting.
Besides my experience as a finance professional I have served in various committees both with my current and previous employer. Currently am a trustee of the CRA Pension Scheme, a member of the Staff Mortgage Scheme Committee and Staff Car Loan Scheme Committee.
