✓ Verify all the import and export documents and ensure they comply with import rules and guidelines
✓ Compute and ensure collection of the taxes payable (import duties)
✓ Examine the imports and export goods to verify their authenticity

The One Stop Border Post (OSBP) is a concept of immigration control / border management in the EAC region whose objective is to enhance trade facilitation,

✓ Prepare the strategy, work plans, policies, processes and procedures to guide the operations of OSBP.
✓ Implement, with other colleagues the operations of OSBP.
✓ Identify and Prepare risk assessment reports, to guide Border
Control & Enforcement on OSBPs and Land Borders
✓ Carry out and evaluate the needs assessment for OSBP on behalf of management
✓ Participate in regional meetings on behalf of the Deputy
