About
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Mathematics and a master’s in business administration from the Fourah Bay College University of Sierra Leone, and the University of Maryland University College. I have ten years management experience working in Institutions like the National Revenue Authority, Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, KPMG, and the Justice Sector Coordination Office. Working with stakeholders like the Ministry, Department and Agencies, development partners and civil society has given me a lot of insight on the coordination of development strategies, strengthening monitoring and evaluation capacity for data collection, reporting and analytics that are in accordance with national development plans.
Also, reporting economic performance to development partners and managing international executive services of regulatory and compliance has always been a huge part of my portfolio over the years in the private and public sector. Presently, I work for Statistics Sierra Leone as a Principal Statistician at the National Statistical Systems Department. My technical and people management role articulates well with the Planning, development and validation of statistics programs and also provides leadership to staff regarding policies, STATS SL mission, performance management and institutional policies.
As a manager I have successfully combined studies with work and other commitments, capable of working under pressure with a clear logical mind, a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see work through completion. I am an excellent professional; very reliable, energetic, eager to learn new skills and enjoy working with challenges while achieving work oriented and personal goals in a timely and efficient manner.
