Nurse professional with 15 years of clinical, emergency, occupational and public health experience in private hospitals and Non-governmental organisations like United Nations. I am passionate about patient and client safety and improving quality health care access and services to all, from community level to organizational level. I continuously endeavour to improve my skills to achieve great patient experience and outcomes.
2010 - 2022, I worked in tow of the biggest private hospitals in Nairobi sharpening my clinical and emergency nursing skills.
2023 - 2024 I worked at United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees as a nurse Admin with my role being managing and coordinating health care access and occupational health for the staffs working in the remote parts of the Horn of Africa. This role improved my skills in data entry and management, report writing and coordination of medical administrative issues like sick leave and maternity leave.
2024 - July 2026, I worked at the occupational health clinic in UNON which serves staffs from several UN agencies in the Nairobi Complex. My roles included, coordinating wellness programs, vaccination campaigns, disease outbreak surveillance and education especially for mission preparedness, data entry and report writing and emergency response. I also worked in the emergency response unit where we coordinated medical evacuations and transfers for staff in different parts of the globe based on specific needs and availability.
