I am a Quality Assurance Manager & Production Manager who has over 8 years of stellar performance and skills in Quality system, Hygiene, Supplier auditing, Production, lab management, Logistic, Risk management, Machine technical support and maintenance, OHSMS and analysis with ability to make informed decisions and lead teams. I have worked in various fast paced organizations leading staff and clients in different levels. I have in-depth professional knowledge and strong skills in Production, OHS, Quality system, scientific research, report writing, with an intention to work in an organization that combines scientific expertise and utilizes my skills for career growth.
I have trained in FSMS/HACCP/FSSC 22000:2018 V5.1 & ISO TS 22002-1:2009 as a Lead auditor in food safety management systems by SGS International Company as well as internal auditor, ISO 9001:2018/QMS, IFA Auditor V5.4.1(F&V) - GlobalG.A.P, Food Fraud prevention and Food Defense based on PAS 96: 2014 for Protecting and Defending Food and Drinks from Deliberate Attack/TACCP, ISO 45001:2018-OHSMS, ISO 17021 – Conformity Assessment, ISO 31000 – Risk Management/QRM, . I have also been trained by Kenya Water Institute (KEWI) in Water Analysis and Quality Standards; more also I am trained in food safety by National Codex Committee (United State) and Fire Safety Management by Firesnow Ltd, Training Consultant.
I am computer literate/ERP and have skills in team building and group dynamics. I am a team player and fast learner having a wide knowledge in both Quality Management and Production/Processing - Vegetable & Essential oils, Meat processing/technology, Dairy technology, Water technology, Brewing, Training, Staff/People/Time management, Planning, Scheduling, Customer complaints approaches, PQR/CSR & Supplier Pre-qualification Auditing, Lab management, cGMP, GAP,GDocP, GRN/Non-conforming & WIP products management, CAPA’s, Regulation/Statutory requirement (NEMA, FDA,KEB’s, Public Health, Halal, KFC, ECOCERT, GlobalG.A.P etc.), OSHA, Kaizen and also knowledge in EU food export requirement (chemical safety, biological safety, labeling & nutrition, noval foods etc.)
I am a holder of Bachelor of Technology(Industrial and Medical Option) and a Diploma in Industrial Microbiology from the Technical University of Kenya; I also hold a Certificate in Food Science and Technology from the same University College having completed it in the year 2005.
