In over six years in online school, I have had the honour to learn from a diverse array of teachers and students. Being immersed in such a unique environment has helped me build effective systems for navigating unfamiliar circumstances and overcoming challenges. As I take the plunge into the world of work, I am eager to further develop and apply the skills I have gained through remote learning as well as engage with people and make real change.

Intern Illustrator at White Rhino Films (2022-06 – 2022-12)

• Supported the Lead graphic designer by making 10-15 illustrations per week, ranging from small icons to full transition wipes.
• Met each deadline for 17 episodes of "Team Sayari".
• Developed a thick skin for criticism and the ability to thoroughly analyze my own work processes and results.

Student Ambassador: Classical Civilization at Kings InterHigh (2023-11 – 2024-07)

• Introduced potential students and guardians to Classics as an option for A Level studies in 2-5 webinars per half semester.
• Represented the subject
• Compiled data from students and teachers to implement in the first Student Lead Study Pilot Program, creating effective study material and activities from the results.
• Hosted 20 students in two 1-hour sessions per week for the Student Lead Study Pilot Program. Creating an engaging environment for peers to learn from each other.

Student Council Member at Kings InterHigh (2025-11 – Present)

• Delegated tasks between 15 members, building trust, reliability and encouraging school spirit.
• Prompted, Assembled and organized suggestions from peers to present to the deputy Head of School and further developed these suggestions to apply into the school
• Lead presentations for students aged 14-18, hosting engaging and educational activities, in weekly assemblies.

Technical research and documentation at West Nairobi School (2025-08 – 2025-08)

• Researched and compiled technical documentation for the lighting and audio equipment installed to the newly built theatre.
• Consolidated key operational and warranty information into a streamlined reference guide for theater technicians.
