Nancy Kadenyi

Kadenyi has a background in Environmental Conservation and Natural Resource Management. She is strongly interested in rangelands and management of natural resources, agroforestry, farmer-led natural regeneration, water management, climate-smart agriculture, community-based environmental education, and participatory research. For the past five years, she has worked with communities on initiatives and activities linked to natural resource management.

Over the years, she gained extensive expertise in a variety of areas through her work, including assessments, citizen science, quantitative and qualitative research, focused group discussions, climate-resilient farming, agroforestry, rainwater harvesting, community participation and engagement, tree growing, urban climate resilience, and grant proposal writing. She excels at partnering with diverse teams and stakeholders to develop long-term sustainable strategies that leverage landscape potential while protecting its ecological integrity.
