I am an ICPAK certified Accountant with over 15 years of experience in both the humanitarian sector and corporate world, and a Bachelor of Business management. Experienced in coordinating financial and grant management support processes, leading, and coordinating teams and assigned partners, supporting, and coordinating financial planning and budget development for grants and proposals, and ensuring compliance across all grants. Keen to achieve the highest professional level and be able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and to steer the organization towards attaining both its short- and long-term financial objectives in an effective and efficient manner.

I am a result-orientated team player who is looking for an opportunity to work in the finance sector in both the NGO and corporate world. I am dedicated and work with minimum supervision.

• Possessing excellent accounting and administrative skills, with an ability to budget, manage and prepare financial reports
• Expert in financial management of institutional donor funds with an ability to create awareness among staff and other partners
• Possessing practical skills in preparing the multi-currency donor budgets with an ability to consolidate financial reports in donor currency from expenditure of different currencies, calculation of the gains and losses and conduct budget revision.
•  Experienced in using accounting softwares and MS office programs with an ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proven ability to write research proposals, technical reports and reviews, and conduct informative presentations
• Good at developing goals that are consistent with agreed strategies, identifying priority activities while adjusting them as required.
• Competent in risk profiling and allowing for contingencies when planning.

Am a first-degree holder in finance, a professional accountant(CPAK) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK)
