My commitment can be gauged from the fact that I’m an accredited holder of a Diploma in Cartography and Geographic information system (GIS) honors, Credit from the Regional Center for Mapping of Resources for Development.

Possessing 3 months of experience of attachment at Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, I have gained extensive insight within the Cartography and Geographic information system (GIS) field. My key Cartography and Geographic information system (GIS) competencies include, Scanning, geo-referencing, digitizing of data, Archiving and retrieving of maps and map records, updating the geo databases, preparing and producing maps as per stakeholder’s request, generating geocodes, preparing and printing Enumeration Area maps, making of cluster maps, making of grids, and any other duties assigned by the Cartographer.

After my attachment I volunteered to work there for a few 2 years and gained more skilled and experience. In 2022 I managed to get a contract of a month to work as a technical officer to make cluster maps for clients, where I gained more skills.

As a Cartographer, I am an accomplished communicator, with excellent organizational, decision-making, and time management skills.
