My name is Nigel Awino Agai, I am an LLB finalist. I am a Certified Professional Mediator. I serve in various positions as a student leader including, President International Court of Justice - Daystar Chapter, Organising Secretary Daystar Moot Court Society.
My main interests are in public law, human rights and alternative dispute resolution, I regardless maintain an open mind and readiness to learn and to adapt as the circumstances demand. I am committed to building a strong foundation in the study and practice of law, legal research, oral advocacy and professional ethics.
May – August 2024: Industrial attachment, CIC Insurance Group PLC.
Was attached in the CIC Head Office, Legal Department where I was given assignments under the supervision of the Legal Manager, Mr.
Abande. The assignments mainly included, research and contract management involving drafting, reviewing, recording and storing contracts. During the time, I gained skills such as critical thinking, time management, research and analysis.
May – August 2025: Judicial Attachment, Milimani Commercial Courts. Was attached under the Chief Magistrates Court, Honourable Daniel Ole Keiwua. During the time, I was mainly tasked with various research assignments.
February 2026 to May 2026: Trainee Lawyer at SOKLAW Advocates in partnership with Africa Health Law.
