Currently i am working at the boma hotels in Nairobi as the Human resource administrative assistant where i am handling most most of the human resource duties including;
Key duties and responsibilities
- Weekly running and processing of the Payroll system (Prologic web trax.
- Ensuring and Managing employee attendance in the prologic payroll management system
- Forming and maintaining employee’s records and updating database internally such as sick and maternity leaves.
- Preparing and amending where necessary Human resource documents i.e. employment contracts, recruitment guides.
- Finalizing and calculation of former and leaving staffs final dues.
- Reviewing and renewing company policies and compliance.
- Assisting the payroll department by proving relevant employees information e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules.
- Participating in Human Resource projects e.g. helping in organizing job fair events, events schedules.
- Administer consultant, intern and staff contracts while maintaining their records, assurance of contracts, extension and termination.
- Participating in recruitment and selection of employees through engaging in interviewing employees.
- Providing training and development opportunities
- Providing guidance on employee behavior and conflict resolutions.
Drafting general letters for staff and memos.
