I am a detailed oriented and self driven biomedical scientist, with a strong background in Medical Biotechnology. My training focused on biotechnology, microbiology, food technology, molecular biology and information technology. I have over two years of working experience as a quality control and quality assurance supervisor.

I am committed to improving food safety and enhancing quality across multiple production chains. I am well versed with computer application. My key strengths include, attention to details, team building, solving problems and continuous product improvement innovation.

Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Reserch Organisations - 2022 July to 2022 Oct - Laboratory Analyst.

At Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organisations (KALRO) I was attached at different laboratories where I leaned and gained hands-on Laboratory skills as listed bellow.

1. Pharmacology - Drug residue analysis Lab - I gained hands-on skills in labelling and changing beddings of Laboratory mice, preparing trypanocidal drugs solutions, using the microscope to quantify trypanosomes in experimental blood samples, analysing drug residues using ELISA, and how to calibrate and use a pH meter.
2. Microbiology Lab - At the microbiology biology lab I gained relevant skills in bacterial identification using gram staining, preparing culture media, sterilisation and aseptic technique, and maintenance and using of fumehood.
3. Molecular biology Lab - At the molecular biolgy lab I gained hands-on experience in molecular techniques as listed below; DNA extraction, DNA amplification and DNA analysis using different technologies like Gel electrophoresis and realtime PCR.
4. Entomology lab - At the entomology where sterile tsetse flies are reared, I learned how to feed tsetseflies using bovine blood, sexing of tsetse flies, collection of pupae and calculation of mortality rate.
5. Animal scientist Laboratory - At the animal science Laboratory I gained hands on experience on Laboratory animal management like feeding, changing of feedings and ethical regulations in managing of Laboratory animals.

At Todina Dairy Enterprises I managed and supervised dairy production and dairy products value addition processing ensuring all quality control and quality assurance measures are adhered to and are meeing both internal and external set standard's .I conducted quality checks throughout the production proceses and filing all logs accuratly and systematically for traceability. With a strong commitment to food safety, I implemented food safety measures and enhanced quality of products by practicing and aligning processes with global standard's like ISO 22000.
