I am an undergraduate student at Maseno University. My major is a Bachelor of Art in Urban and Regional Planning with IT. I have just finished and currently waiting for graduation. I would like to apply for this position to further my professional development and learn the different aspects of being a Physical planning professional from your organization.
Having received training for the last four years in physical and urban development planning, urban design, environmental impact assessment and conservation, geographical information system field research, and other related skills, I believe that this job position will be the next learning experience to expand my knowledge and enhance my skill sets. It will also help me realize my passion for planning, environment, and land management.
I am confident that I am fully equipped with the relevant skills I have acquired at the university. I have completed a project on social housing; this has taught me how to work within a team, how to use computer software such as Revit and AutoCAD, how to take measurements using GPS and compass, and most importantly how to present findings professionally.
