As a dedicated student doing a degree in Applied Communication, majoring in Media and Corporate Communication Studies, I am passionate about the dynamic world of media and its role in shaping corporate landscapes. My academic journey has equipped me with a diverse skill set, including effective communication, strategic thinking, and digital media proficiency. I excel in crafting compelling narratives, managing social media platforms, and executing strategic communication plans.
With a keen interest in public relations and corporate storytelling, I am driven to bridge the gap between organizations and their audiences, ensuring clear, impactful, and engaging communication.
I am currently interning at the offices of UDA Party, Kenya the ruling party in my country in the Media and Communication department, I have gained extensive professional experience across various sectors. In this role, I have honed my skills in strategic communication, media relations, and public affairs. I am responsible for media monitoring and research, panel heading, writing news scripts and developing communication strategies that effectively convey the party’s message to the public.
My experience includes conducting media research, analyzing public opinion, and creating engaging content for diverse audiences. I have collaborated with senior communication advisors to organize and coordinate interviews, and manage media inquiries.
Through this internship, I have developed a deep understanding of the political landscape and the importance of effective communication in shaping public perception and driving political engagement. My ability to navigate complex issues, coupled with my proficiency in various communication tools and techniques, has allowed me to contribute meaningfully to the party’s media and communication efforts.
