A passionate and performance-driven professional with experience in the implementation of regulatory standards, establishing and implementing food safety management systems in line with the respective applicable standards. My competencies lie in ISO 22000:2018, FSSC, KS EAS Food Standards implementation, Public health Act implementation (applicable sections), Weight and measures act and NEMA-Environmental Audits Compliance. I am therefore seeking a position where my skills and experience will be utilized to facilitate, streamline and ensure efficient process flow with accuracy and integrity.
I am a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition, a trained ISO 22000:2018 Internal auditor , a fire marshal as well as a trained SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) committee member.
My professional background includes serving as a quality assurance officer (QAO) and SHE (Sub-pillar for environment) as well as in charge of regulatory compliance for the organization. My responsibilities include establishment and implementation systems - food safety management system (FSMS) ,implementation of FSMS and regulatory standards (ISO 22000: 2018, Public Health Act, NEMA related compliance –effluent discharge license ,Annual NEMA audits, conducting internal audits as required by DOSH , review of stack emission ,NEMA audit , air quality reports and reviewing and developing corrective actions from all audits to address the citations as required .
Currently am the quality assurance officer-head of quality assurance department and the laboratory in Unga Limited with an experience of 5 years in the supervisory position. I am the company SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Pillar-head for Environment, Pillar- head for Total Quality Management (TQM), a trained fire Marshall as well as a trained SHE committee member and the organization’s compliance officer.
