I am a Finance and Statistics student interested in the analysis and interpretation of data for everyday use. I am looking for mentorship and I am eager to learn about gathering financial data, analysing historical results, making forecasts and projections, making recommendations and generating models, presentations and reports.
From studying at the University I have had a broad and deep insight in the fields of Finance and Statistics. They are two fascinating disciplines that interactively need each other on a daily basis. One supplies the methodology and another instruments of analysis.
They deal with interesting sections of money, markets, valuation, public sector, private sector, investment decisions, financing decisions, dividend decisions, proforma statements, theoretical data collection, data analysis, not to mention programming languages that work hand in hand with the analysis of data; r and python. I would like to apply all this in a real life situation.
