I am an ardent, inventive mental health specialist, and health care professional whose greatest strength lies in providing a safe and interactive environment in which to tackle difficult subjects, deep-seated trauma, or just say the things you never thought you would say out loud. In my ten-plus years of experience, I have established a keen knack for quality assurance in both organizational and clinical settings and supporting programs structured around GBV prevention/response, Loss and Grief, organizational counseling, Trauma debriefing, Psychological First Aid, protection services, strategic behavior change, clinical supervision, capacity building, policy, and advocacy. To cap on a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nairobi and a Nursing diploma from the Kenya Medical training college, I also have multiple certifications in Evidence-based management of SGBV, Economic Evaluation in Global Health, and Leadership and Management in Health from the University of Washington.
