I submit my application for consideration as an Payables Accountant. I have a B.A. in Economics and continuing CPA part 2 section 4.

I have gained experience in processing payments and reconciling Trade Payables, processing receipts due and reconciling Trade Receivables. Reconciling control accounts to bills management to ensure what appears in the ledgers is accurate.

I am able to post multi currency receipts and payments in KES and USD to the cash books and ensure an accurate monthly bank reconciliation statement. I can also maintain petty cash, and reconcile cash at hand with petty cash book enabling timely reimbursement of petty cash imprest.

I can prepare monthly management reports, analyse variances between actual expenditure and budget estimate, prepare monthly Income statement to ascertain net profit, reconcile Inter-company current accounts and assist in annual budget preparation.

I am conversant with Sage Pastel, QuickBooks and ERP- Harvest it and extensive knowledge with spreadsheets, thus needing little or no additional training to be able to assimilate into your working environment. Attached is a copy of my CV detailing my experience and qualifications.
