With a passion for empowering women through technology and networking, I embarked on a journey that led me to become the Co Founder and managing director of EwomenNetwork Kenya. As a former graduate mathematics and computer science teacher, my expertise in these fields empowered me to make a significant impact by creating opportunities for women in the tech industry. Today, I proudly serve as a networker, coach, entrepreneur, and mentor; guiding and supporting young people in their business endeavors.
My career began as a mathematics and computer science teacher, where I witnessed the power of mathematics and technology in shaping lives. Observing the gender disparities within the industry, I became inspired to bridge the gap and empower women to explore and excel in the field.
While teaching, it became evident that women were significantly underrepresented in technology-related fields. This realization fueled my desire to empower women by leveraging the transformative power of technology and creating a network that would enable them to thrive.
Motivated by the drive to make a substantial impact on women's lives, I founded EwomenNetwork Kenya—an organization dedicated to providing resources, support, and networking opportunities to empower women in technology. Rooted in my deep understanding of mathematics and computer science, I developed a comprehensive program that equips women with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the ever-evolving tech industry.
