Purity Mutisya

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Gender and Development in University of Nairobi. I possess a master’s degree in Human rights, Gender and Conflict studies acquired from Erasmus University, the Netherlands and a bachelor’s degree in Education: Early Childhood Studies from Kenyatta University in Kenya.

In addition, I have acquired professional qualifications in: Human rights based approach, feminist movements and human rights institute, land policy in a development context, family matters, computer applications and European computer driving licence, the Hague program 2013, and project planning and management in various institutions as shown in my CV. Thus, I can competently perform the responsibilities and expectations as illustrated in the job description.

I have 11 years of experience in `programming, designing and implementation of gender mainstreaming and gender equality programs more specifically in African countries. I have excellent planning and organizational skills, facilitation and communication skills and I am very analytical and critical on gender development issues.
