An articulate and detail oriented accounting professional with a goal to further advance my career into more complex roles in economics and finance. I have excelled in areas such as supervision of non- teaching staff, procurement and inventory management, budgetary planning, bank reconciliations, preparation of final accounts and liasing with external auditors. My goal is to secure a position as a Financial Analyst/ Accountant with a view to contribute to ensuring the financial health of the company and improving profits.
Ensuring the management of school fees collection and all stores
Charged with the banking of revenue collected in school other than direct deposits
Supervision of all non-teaching staff and ensuring all their roles are well executed
Liaising with external auditors and answered all their questions with regards to accounts
Management of all staff payrolls
Writing up all books of accounts and preparation of final accounts
Heading the procurement department and preparing tender documents
Participating in the preparation of annual and termly budgets
Maintaining the caution money register, admission book and the school asset register
Financial skills- Competent in verifying preparing financial statements, reports and recording all financial transactions and analyzing financial budgets and other financial information and recommending financial options.
Accounting skills- Skilled in handling general and complex accounting principles for example bank reconciliations, the general ledgers and balancing of accounts, managing cash flows, handling accounts payables and accounts receivables, verification of accounts documents among other accounting roles
Procurement and Inventory Management: Experienced in handling roles in procurement for example; preparing tender documents, ensuring all departments are well stocked and categorization of supplies in order to demonstrate order in inventory management.
Human Resource Management: Acquired skills and knowledge in Human Resource Management for example recruitment, selection, payroll management, supervision and ensuring the safety of employees by maintain a conducive environment for them.
Research and Analytical skills- Ability to carry out detailed and accurate research using proper data collection instruments and interpreting, analyzing and evaluating the data collected correctly.
Team working skills- Ability to work in a team of researcher and co- workers with a view to produce results.
Communication skills: Ability to relate well with team members and ensure good relations are fostered.
ICT Competence- Good command of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and quick books
