Workshop training on steam boiler for two weeks conducted by JKUAT in coordination with
Forbes Marshall.
Attachment at Simba Cement for 3 months. During this period l was exposed to the following work areas.
● Maintenance and installation of solenoid valves.
● Troubleshooting and maintenances of zero speed controller
● Calibrations and troubleshooting of weigh feeder
● Motor starters (D.O.L), star delta, and forward reverse connections.
● Connection of the IO panel for both analogue and digital signals
● Installation of valves, configuring valves positioner, instrument tagging and servicing of instruments
● Installation of pressure differential transmitter (PDT) and RTD's and thermocouples
● Installation and maintenance of Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)
Drone on Integration Sensing Systems on Aerial Drones for Environmental
Bachelor’s Degree in control and Instrumentation.
