I hold a Second Class Honors (Upper Division) Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi, graduating class of 2021. I also have a vast experience in legal research (both academic and practice-related - litigation, conveyancing, labor, commercial and more) having been an office assistant and researcher with the firm of O.H. Bunde and Company Advocates for a period spanning 20 months.
It is in the same firm that I gained much skill and knowledge of the legal space as I handled clients directly, prepared documents (court documents, contracts etc) and office administration. Further, I have worked under scholars, including LLM candidates - Mr Jeffah Momanyi (Harvard Law), Mrs Jesca Atieno, Ms Esther Nyachia and Mrs Leah Aoko (University of Nairobi) - gaining vast requisite skills in advanced research. I also have an ongoing scholarship at Liverpool John Moores University for my LLM, all going towards making me a better researcher.
I offer freelance consultancy in all areas of law and legal practice, as well as research in all spaces including the world of academia.
I have a vast experience in legal and general research and writing, having been a freelance researcher from 2016 to date. This has given me the opportunity to work with different individuals in various fields, including law, education, science, technology, agriculture and business as a researcher. This has been in both academic work and other research-related content.
I also took a substantial time in the world of education as tutor and classroom teacher at different points as highlighted - Nyanguju Junior Academy (January 2015- September 2015; January 2016- April 2016; September 2016 - December 2016), St Jude Academy (January 2018 - May 2018); Brilliant Stars Junior School (January 2019- March 2019) and Griggs International Academy (under Andrews University) (October 2022 - March 2023). In these assignments, I undertook various duties including teaching, office administration, research, legal drafting and documentation, and much more.
Further, I worked with the general practice law firm of O.H. Bunde and Company Advocates in two stints, January 2021 to October 2021, and June 2022 to April 2023 as a legal assistant and researcher. In this capacity, I met with clients and handled legal consultations on all areas of practice, drafted contracts, and handled negotiations. I also drafted and prepared court and other documents, filed court documents, served other firms and conducted other clerical work.
