- Recruitment - Monitoring and evaluating merchants into mshwari, lipa na mpesa (LNM) and also converting to buy goods.
- Managing and maintaining my cluster/territory with 480 mpesa agents, 197 retailers and 250 lipa na mpesa merchants.
- Activations - Ensuring proper planning to enable merchants carry out legit and efficient day to day transactions by supporting them with free merchandise.
- Enforce proper and effective market development by carrying out census to increase outlet universe and also maintain existing ones, not forgetting to clean out closed ones.
- Carrying out competition analysis to gauge on market penetration so as to come up with unique ways to counter them. This is through weekly competition report.

- Ensuring that the correct purchase ordering mechanism is used for the item being purchased
- Raising purchase orders according to the different purchasing groups for A &P, Assets and overheads
- Analyzing data and reporting the results on a timely basis.
- Providing support to the market that facilitates the accurate, efficient and timely set up and approval of purchase orders.
- Managing parked and blocked invoices. Acting on the daily parked and blocked items to ensure they are set at the minimum
- Ensuring that all vendor queries are resolved on time through personal intervention or liaison with the market.
- Contributing ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous improvement of the ‘Source to pay’ process.
- Commenting on high level reports that are shared with the major stakeholders
- Managing purchase orders by ensuring unused POs are closed or amended downwards to release funds back to the budget to be used in other important projects
