From February 2024 todate,I am Undertaking an Accounts Intern Offer at ADPOST EXPRESS LIMITED, a family/privately owned company based at Odeon CBD with a capacity of ten employees. My daily duties include, Posting Receipts, Cash sales, cash and cheque payments, sales and supplier invoices, bank charges and other financial transactions into QuickBooks, Preparing payments for VAT, Electricity, Water and Rent and ensuring payments and returns are made by due dates, Preparing monthly reconciliations of bank, creditors and debtors accounts, Ensuring all accounts vouchers are filled daily, Filling and maintaining proper supplier records and many more
From May 2023- August 2023,I undertook an internship program at Waumini Sacco Society Limited. I was deployed at the Finance department as a Finance intern. I did this internship for two months, then, I was added an extra one month.
During this period, I acquired Proper work ethics and highly improved on my customer service skills In 2018, I underwent industrial attachment at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). I was deployed to various sections of the finance department for a period of three months whereby my experience was but not limited to maintenance of the cashbook and verification of the bank statement, Disbursements and capturing of payments in the SAP software, use of e-banking system in payment of benefits, Reconciliation of the cashbook in SSPAS and SAP to the bank statement and many more
I am a graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).I graduated on FRIDAY 2nd DECEMBER 2022 with Bachelor of commerce degree-Accounting option second class honours lower division In 2014, I did a certificate in Information Technology (IT).I am also proficient in computer application packages, for example Microsoft excel, Microsoft access, Microsoft windows xp, internet and many more.
I sat for my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in November 2012 and acquired a mean grade of C+ with 47 Aggregate points.
I sat for my Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (K.C.P.E.) in 2008 and acquired 325 marks out of 500 marks.
