CAREER AND PERSONAL OBJECTIVE

 

To work for a company that aim to conduct more research that can improve the life of people around the world and where I can put my experience, education, and skills in Seeking to work in a busy and challenging environment under minimum supervision, field of Geology, to ultimate use while exercising my abilities to the fullest extent as I support individuals and incorporate growth worldwide.

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• My degree program has developed my ability in basic laboratory techniques such as microscopy and staining.
• I have experience in the following techniques from taught courses including Principles of mineralogy, Field mapping, Remote Sensing an GIS application, Industrial Rocks and minerals, Petrology, Hydrogeology, Geochemistry, Geophysics, Ore Deposits, Geothermal resources, among others.
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite: excellent knowledge in introduction in ICT, computer basics, operating systems, office suites, file management, internet and E-mail and Entrepreneurship
• Ability to write reports and recommendations according to the results of study.
• Ability to adapt in any environment and can work in shifts.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

WORK EXPERIENCE

TYPICAL DUTIES

• Assists in planning logistics of annual field work programs.
• Participates in and, upon instruction, supervises the work of a field party;

monitors collection and transference of field data, checking for accuracy and omissions.

• Prepares working copies of graphs, maps, diagrams and stereographic projections from field and laboratory data.
• Prepares comprehensive geological reports and maps for internal and/or external use.
• Conducts specific technical tests and analyses on rock specimens and drill core.
• Undertakes compilations and computations of geological and/or exploration data prior to detailed analysis.

7.Performs regional and detailed geological, geophysical and geochemical surveys and investigations and conducts laboratory examinations supplemental to field study.

• Determines the best method of conducting the survey and/or investigation.

Reviews and assesses geological, technical and exploration reports.

• In collaboration with the Director, prepares recommendations and plans for the projects including methodology, operational strategy, budget, staff and equipment requirements, logistics, reporting format and deadlines.
• Initiates, supervises and participates in projects and provides guidance to staff on all aspects of the programs, including review and edit of the work of subordinates

11.Maintains effective liaison with and provides consultation to the private sector,

government agencies and other branches of the department.

• Participates in formulation and implementation of branch policy and program.
