My name is Seth Onchiri. I’m a recent graduate with a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. I have a strong interest in humanitarian work, advocacy, and public affairs, which I’ve developed through both academic training and hands-on experience during my internship at the Postal Corporation of Kenya. There, I worked in the Corporate Communication and Public Affairs Department, gaining practical skills in communication, legal research, and stakeholder engagement.
I’m especially passionate about child protection, human rights, and community development, which inspired my field research on food insecurity and child welfare in Mandera County. I also have solid computer skills and speak English, Swahili, and basic French. I’m now looking for opportunities where I can grow professionally, contribute meaningfully, and apply my knowledge of international systems, policy, and communication to real-world challenges.
I am a graduate of International Relations and Diplomacy with hands-on experience in communications, research, and public affairs. I interned at the Postal Corporation of Kenya, where I supported corporate communication, legal research, and stakeholder engagement. I’ve also conducted field research on food security and child protection in Mandera County, strengthening my understanding of humanitarian and development issues.
I bring strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills, with a passion for advocacy and community-focused work.
