Sharon Odawa

My name is Sharon Atieno Odawa. I have just completed my Diploma in Procurement and Material Management from the Technical University of Mombasa.

I am a highly motivated individual with passion for procurement and material management. My education and experience have given me a solid foundation in the procurement field. I seek to apply the knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. I also seek to learn about the practical dynamics in the field.

During my attachment at Parklands Sports Club, I gained valuable experience in the areas of procurement planning, supplier evaluation and selection, contract management and inventory control. The experience enabled me to develop analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, making informed decisions and identifying opportunities for saving procurement and operational costs. I have also taken keen interest in data analytics necessary in improving operational efficiencies.

I am a team player, confident, and eager to learn. I can adapt to your organization’s dynamics and seek to achieve its objectives. I am excited about the prospect of joining your team and learning from experienced professionals in the industry.

I am a graduate of Diploma in Procurement and Material Management. I learnt vendor selections, negotiating, contract preparation, inventory management, and supplier relationship management. I seek to obtain a full-time position that will allow me to demonstrate skills, technical knowledge, and learn practical aspects of the field, yet also delivering results and adding value to the organization.
