I have a diploma in health promotion as my primary course and a certificate in HIV testing and counseling (HTS).Currently I'm a HTS counselor volunteer at kibera Amref and I perform a number of tasks which includes; Implementing Assisted partner notification services, offering HIV counseling and testing to eligible clients, starting Prep with eligible clients and referral and linkage of HIV positive clients to name a few. I'm passionate in offering health education in communities to encourage and motivate people to have control and to Improve their health by adapting to better lifestyles like eating healthy, avoid smoking and be vaccinated for flu and other communicable diseases.However interacting and educating the key population eg sex workers on the use of pre-exposure prophylaxis (Prep) and Post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) enabled them to take control of their own health.

As a HIV counseling and testing services counselor volunteer at kibera Amref I perform a number of tasks which include; HIV counseling and testing to eligible clients, Implementing Assisted partner notification services, starting Pre-exposure prophylaxis (Prep) with eligible clients and also giving health education to patients on different departments eg out-patient department (OPD) and Antenatal clinic (ANC) and many more assignments.
