Shelmith Kabiru

I'm Shelmith Kabiru, and I'm a fourth-year student at Gretsa University in Thika, where I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in community development. For the past three years, I have immersed myself in the realm of internet writing in addition to my academic endeavors. I consider writing to be a calling, not just a hobby, that allows me to express my desire for excellence and perfection.

My motivation stems from an unwavering quest for perfection in all I do, hoping to go above and beyond expectations and produce the best possible work. I'm constantly learning new things and improving my writing abilities through my coursework and endeavors, and I'm always looking to contribute something significant to society.

With a diverse background in both public service and freelance writing, I bring a unique blend of skills and experiences to the table. My tenure as a clerk with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission during the 2022 elections honed my ability to handle administrative tasks with precision and efficiency, while my role as a tutor at Kahara DEB Primary School instilled in me the importance of effective communication and mentorship. Additionally, my attachment at the Kiambu County offices in Thika headquarters, within the Department of Gender and Social Services, provided me with invaluable insights into community development initiatives and public administration.

Alongside these professional endeavors, I have been actively engaged as a freelance writer since 2021, where I have cultivated a strong dedication to excellence and a keen eye for detail. These collective experiences have equipped me with a robust skill set and a steadfast commitment to making meaningful contributions in both my professional and creative pursuits.

Am a fourth year student at Gretsa University, Thika. Am taking a Bachelor's degree in Community Development. I have a mean grade of 69, Second class honours from my current transcripts.
