Shirline Adhiambo

My name is shirline Praiz Otieno, I'm a female 23 years old. I'm a teacher by profession. I love teaching small children 3-9years. I love mingling with children so much. I'm a counsellor by birth. I love counselling small children. I love swimming, interpreting ( sign language) and adventure.

I am an ECDE teacher currently I'm advancing in Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching Education. I worked at Kariobangi Adventist Education Center where I did my internship for one year. While I was in Kariobangi Adventist Education Center I was teaching grade 2 and i loved interacting with the teacher.

Most of the time I had a class of 48. Thereafter I was privileged to work a the lakewood Schools for another one year. Here I managed to teach Grade one and two. I enjoyed spending time with them, counselling them and during free time I would teach them sign language.

I would teach them poems and songs and they would present them whenever there was a function in school. I used to to interprate during school event as I was the only one who knew sign language in the school. The administration loved me so much because of this.

Currently I'm attached at The Elegant Achievers schools where I'm working.

I did my primary level education , and did KCPE in 2015. Secondary level education, KCSE in 2019. 2021 December I did my certificate in DECTE programme thereafter in 2022 I joined Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching Education at International Teachers Training College in kitengela where I am at the moment doing schoolbased program.
